Comments: vintage 1991 27 ft Motor Home Class A, a Thor Pinnacle 270 C, which was at its time, rated as BEST BUY. It has many intelligent features, that are commonly found only in very high priced items, such as 2 air conditioning units, a fridge with double door and a real icebox, working alternately on propane and electricity (when hooked up or working on the generator), a spacious bathroom with flush toilet, shower, and sink, a 4000 Watts Onan generator, which was partially rebuilt recently, a dinette, which seats 4 - 6 Persons and converts into a double bed, a kitchenette with a double sink, a four-flame gas burner, a gas stove, a hood vent with externalÊexhaust and a Microwave. There is a TV with a retractable Antenna and a VCR, two radios with Casette- and CD-Players. The gas operated heating works fine and so does the separate airconditioning, which works off the generator, if not hooked up. With a 60 gal gas tank, a 10 gal propane tank, a 40 Gal freshwatertank, 10 Gal hotwater, and seperate grey and black water waste tanks, the unit is completely autonomous for 3 - 4 days and not always dependant on expensive RV-camps with full hook-ups. We have camped often enough on Walmart Parking. The special pride of its (first) owner were the later installed two pivoting front seats with electrical adjustement for the driver seat, in champagne leather colour matched with the front panel. For us, at the age of 60+, the spacious back bedroom with its walkaround queensize bed, was most important. For security, there are detectors for gas, fumes and monocarbide as well as 2 fire-extinguishers and a water purifier.ÊThe Motorhome has a Tow preparation with two different electrical connection sets. The entrance door has an automatically workig step-up, and externally, there are 4 large storage compartements, which compliment the numerous cabinets and drawers in the interior. and many interior lights. The carpet is almost new and without odours from pets. There are shades and blinds all around the many windows. The engine and the chassis are Chevrolet standard and in good shape. Tires have been inspected for damage and wear and should give you many more tousand miles. The Interior has been lovingly conserved, all the features work without fail, and the ship is generally in mint condition. The first owner had an additional oil cooler installed, so that we never ran into trouble with overheating, although we took the ship up to 2500 meters in Crater Lake and and four times across the continental divides in the last few weeks. Engine, transmission, suspensionÊandÊbrakes have been checked repeatedly, and there has been some extensive work done recently on the ball bearings, the steering and wheel adjustment to the extent of almost 3.000 USD. Mind you, this is not a new car, and a lot of things need to be taken care of or monitored continually. However, we bought this unit 10 weeks ago and it carried us faithfully across approximately 8000 miles through the southern and northwestern parts of the US and the north of Canada, then west to Toronto. We are going back to Germany from Toronto, and that is why we want to sell it again, via ebay or through a consignement with a Toronto dealer. We want to check ebay first, because this is the way we bought it, too.Ê We shall leave many things in the motorhome, that are necessary for instant operation, but not usually included,Êamong othersÊthe coffemachine, the toaster, dishes, pots and pans, cuttlery, glassware, since we cannot takeÊall thisÊback on our flight, and they might be usefull - at least partly - to the new owners, if they want to use theÊRV immediately. If you don't like them, throw them away.
